          Application field

          The number of pixels scanned by a line scan camera per line can be from 512-12000, and the exposure of each line can also be independent of the target's moving speed, so it is also suitable for situations where the moving speed of the target changes.           Area scan cameras are suitable for occasions with large target objects or small defect sizes, such as print quality inspection, PCB board inspection, shape, size, position, and even temperature measurement.

          Due to production technology constraints, the area of a single area array CCD is difficult to meet the field of view requirements of general industrial measurement. The advantage of linear array CCD is high resolution, but to obtain two-dimensional image with linear array CCD, it must be equipped with scanning motion, and in order to determine the corresponding position of each pixel of the image on the DUT, it must also be equipped with a grating. Wait for the device to record the coordinates of each scan line of the linear array CCD. Generally speaking, these two requirements lead to the following shortcomings in acquiring images with linear array CCDs: long image acquisition time and low measurement efficiency; due to the existence of scanning motion and corresponding position feedback links, increasing system complexity and cost; images The accuracy may be reduced by the influence of the scanning motion accuracy, and ultimately affect the measurement accuracy.

          The linear array CCD plus scanning motion to obtain images is still widely used, especially in the case of a large field of view and high image resolution, it cannot even be replaced with an area array CCD. However, only high resolution cannot guarantee high image recognition accuracy. Especially the image obtained by linear array CCD has high resolution, but because of the influence of scanning motion accuracy, its image is more special than area array CCD image. Sex. Therefore, not only must the advantages of high resolution be fully utilized in image recognition, but also the effect of scanning motion must be overcome algorithmically, so that the error of the mechanical transmission does not directly affect the final image recognition accuracy.
